1/2 Block Classes

In my block class we just finished up the Renaissance, Reformation and Exploration unit.  Students took their unit exam before Fall break.  We will now begin talking about the Age of Revolutions and Rebellions.  This unit focuses on the Scientific Revolution, the Enlightenment and the numerous rebellions that took place in the 18th and 19th centuries. This unit will cover standards 13 through 15.


3rd, 5th, 6th and 7th Period Yearlong Classes

My yearlong classes are starting off the month of October by discussing the impact and legacy of the Black plague.  The students will follow this up by learning about the Renaissance.  The Renaissance is the first part of the SSWH9 and SSWH10 Unit, which also includes the Protestant Reformation and Exploration.
