Currently in Art:
6th - Students are working on their Jungle sketches based off artwork of Henri Rousseau.  Students are learning about the element of Space and the drawing method of perspective.  We will be transferring their sketches onto canvas boards and begin painting starting Wednesday.

7th - Students are working on their sketches based off "The Starry Night" by Vincent Van Gogh.  Students are creating their own parodies of the famous artwork and drawing various items in the painting.  Students will begin painting their revised art pieces onto canvas boards beginning Wednesday.

8th - Students are working on their drawings based off "The Scream" by Edvard Munch.  Students have created their own parodies of the famous artwork and have incorporated their own images in place of the famous character emphasized in "The Scream".  Painting on canvas boards will begin Tuesday.
