In our classroom, we have a card system to track our behavior. Every student begins the day on green. Students will be asked to move their card if they are not following our classroom rules. Please look at your child's agenda every night and sign underneath where their behavior is marked.

Discipline Procedure Steps for Misconduct are as follows:
Green: Great day!
Yellow: Pulled card once-5 minutes of recess
Orange: Pulled card twice-10 minutes of recess
Red: Pulled card three times-all of recess (may require a phone call home or office visit depending on the severity of the offense)

***Conduct grades will be based on your child's behavior during each 9 week period.

Our classroom rules are:
We will use our CHAMPS behavior (in or out of the classroom)
I will follow directions
Always be respectful of others
I will always try my best
I will be a good friend to everyone

Panter's school-wide behavior expectations are modeled after CHAMPs.  This system provides students with expectations school-wide. 

I firmly believe in rewarding my students for a job well done.  We have a reward system in our classroom in which students get to move their strips when "Caught Doing Good".  The students work their way up the Golden bucket and earn a ribbon to be displayed in our classroom all year.   Ask your child how many ribbons they have earned so far.
