Communication:
I will be communicating with you on a daily basis through your child's communication folder. Your child is responsible for returning their folder daily. Please review any papers that are sent home daily. Place any notes that might need immediate attention, such as transportation changes, excuse notes, etc. in your child's folder. Your child's behavior chart and agenda can be found in their folder. Please review their behavior daily and initial. Their homework and/or any reminders can be found on their agenda.

Homework:
Your child will receive their homework on Mondays and will be responsible for returning it on Friday. Please review your child's homework before they bring it back to school. There may also be additional homework given throughout the week. Any homework should be recorded on your child's agenda. Homework may not be given on a weekly basis. If you would like to work with your child on a week that no homework is assigned, please review multiplication facts and read.

Newsletters:
A newsletter will be sent home weekly in your child's communication folder. A copy of the newsletter will also be posted on my webpage.

Breakfast and Lunch: ***Please note that prices have changed***
Student Breakfast: $1.25 per day         Student Lunch:  $1.75 per day
No more that $5.00 may be charged on your child's account.

All lunch money or checks must be placed in a baggie or envelope (labeled with your child’s name, my name, and your child’s lunch number) and placed in the front pocket of your child’s communication folder. You may also put money towards your child's account by visiting www.mylunchmoney.com. Once you have established your account, you can apply funds and check the balance of your account at any time.
Also, your child may purchase an ice cream on Wednesdays and Fridays for $1.00.  Different varieties are available.

Snacks:
Water bottles may be brought to class, as long as they are taken home at least every Friday, if not everyday. Please do not send in juices, sodas, etc. Spills are not easy to clean up off of carpet. A snack may be brought from home to be eaten at snack time.  Please make this a nutritious/light snack (pretzels, granola bars, cheese-its, fruit, etc- no candy such as suckers or gum.)

After School Program:
Learning Bridge ASP requires a pre-registration form to be completed and a once-a-year registration fee of $15. The information can be found on their website,
www.learningbridgepaulding.com. The only options for enrollment are either the 3 day or 5 day program. Student drop-ins will not be permitted. This is a pre-pay program.

Transportation:
Any change in transportation should be done in person, in writing, or via a fax with proper identification.  Transportation changes cannot be made by email.

Visitors:
It is required that visitors sign-in at the front office and obtain a tag to display who you are. If you do not have a tag, you will be asked to return to the front office for you to get one.

Attendance:
The instructional day begins at 8:00 and ends at 2:30 pm. The doors open at 7:30 am for bus riders, car riders, and day care transportation. It is crucial that students are in their classroom by 8:00 am ready to begin their day. A student arriving to class later than 8:00 am will be considered tardy. Please remember that regular attendance is essential to a student's success in school.
