Mrs. Grooms' 8th Math
My email address: lgrooms@paulding.k12.ga.us
Planning time: 9:40-10:40
Our goal is to see progress and growth in learning mathematics (and to pass the CRCT!!).\ If you have access to a computer and the internet, a great practice CRCT site is http://www.crctlessons.com/math-online-games.html.
Lessons and homework are subject to change. Some standards may require more or less time to acquire mastery. I will try to update as soon as possible. For the most accurate information on homework and assessments, check your child's agenda daily.
Tutoring is offered on Thursdays mornings by appointment. I encourage your child to make an appointment if he or she is having difficulties with what we are learning in class. I will occasionally offer tutoring on other days depending on our testing days.
Homework will be included in the weekly lessons listed to the left of my home page. I am not currently using the Homework tab.
Please try to have your child at school each day. Class attendance is one of the most valuable ways to keep your child on track for success this year.
