A little bit about your teacher:
Coach Hinkson – I am originally from Montreal, Quebec, Canada. My mother is French Canadian and was also born in Montreal. So yes, I am Canadian and my first language is French :)!!! I am also Trinidadian which is where my fatehr is from. Growing up, I enjoyed playing ice hockey and baseball. I came to the United States on a baseball scholarship and graduated from Jacksonville State University with a Health & Physical Education Masters degree. I previously taught for 4 years at South Paulding Middle and this will be my 3rd year at Carl Scoggins Middle School. I am married to Coach Nye-Hinkson who teaches at South Paulding High School and coaches Varsity Girls Basketball. I have two wonderful girls called Kalee and Kenzie. On my spare time, I referee youth, men’s, high school, college and junior ice hockey throughout the Atlanta area. I also play hockey in Mens leagues. In PE, I want all my students to have fun while understanding how important fitness is in maintaining a healthy lifestyle. |
