Welcome to Ms. Megan Champion's
7th Grade
World Geography Covering Asia & Africa (Currently: Southwest Asia [just finished our review of the economic and government standards which were originally taught in 6th grade but are also included in our 7th grade standards as well] - [We have just begun the standard covering the three most prominent religions found in this region of the world: With the exception of the difference of 'where' we are studying, this standard should be very similar to the last one because it is review of standards learned in 6th grade)

I am so sorry for the update to my homework page being so late in the school year. And, I apologize in advance for when I fall behind again later in the year.
** For those parents/students who had already viewed my page previous to my updating it for the new school year, I am very sorry for any confusion and/or resulting frustration that you experienced in trying to figure out why your work was so different from what had been posted to mu homework page ** Also, I will not be able to maintain a virtual version of the Interactive Notebook on my homework page, like I had attempted to do last year. I will be sure to provide you as detailed and as complete a set of instructions for each assignment as possible. ** I will also try to keep a running (and up to date as much as possible), version of the Table of Contents - Remember, we are not using/assigning page #'s to our notebook, it just needs to be in the correct order based on the example I hope to have posted to this page by tomorrw ** I will not always be able to post copies of our assignments, (maps, textbook worksheets, etc.), to the homework page due to copyright protection laws. (Even when the assignment is pulled directly from the workbook materials that go with the textbook - because while Paulding County Schools have paid for the materials and have the right to use them, we are also repsonsible for protecting them against use by individuals/schools that have not paid to use the resources.) Our homework sites would have to be password protected and as of right now they are not ** I will post as many files/documents/etc. as I am legally able to do so. If you find that you need a copy of something that I was unable to post, please come see me as soon as possible (During the Team Time class period - thats exactly what that time )
!! Please be patient with me as I continue to work on updating this homework page. It may take several days, possibly as long as a week. ** Thank you |
