Welcome to Moses Middle School! 

Mrs. Marsh--6th grade language Arts

 During the first nine weeks of school, our class will be working on parts of speech.  We will try and cover one type per week.
In addition to parts of speech we will be working with words within words and basic spelling rules.

8-8:  Nouns/pronouns                            9-6: Review Test  Begin DGP (daily grammar practice)                       

8-15: Adjectives                                   9-12: Prepositions

8-22: verbs  (begin class novel)              9-19: Conjunctions

8-29: adverbs                                      10-3: Review-parts of speech project-computer lab

There will be practice work given once a week with a quiz on Fridays.  Look for homework on Wed. beginning 8-24-11

Our class will go to the library every two weeks beginning 8-12
