There are several key things
everyone should know:

1. Homework assignments are found in your child's agenda.  Students are required to completely fill out their agendas with classwork and homework assignments each day (I check them before students leave my class).  Please refer to your child's agenda for all homework and class work assignments, as well as upcoming summative assessments.

2.  Organization is a wonderful skill for students to begin learning now.  Every student should have a 2" binder with dividers for each class.  Organization saves time when it comes to locating notes, vocabulary, etc. that are needed to study for class.

3.  Parent Portal is an excellent tool to use to keep track of your child's progress in all academic classes.  If you have never accessed this site before, you will need to see one of the school's office staff members to receive your unique log in password.   Every parent/guardian is highly, highly, highly encouraged to check Parent Portal weekly.
