Greetings, East Paulding Community.

I am honored to have the opportunity to serve you as your principal beginning with the 2012-2013 school year. I look forward to an exciting, productive year and would like to share a few highlights to anticipate.

Next, in an effort to positively impact student achievement and increase our graduation rate, we will have a structured advisement program for all students. Advisement groups will meet once a week to focus on and benefit academic, social, and emotional development.

In addition, I will be working with a student leadership group to develop incentive/recognition programs and work on overall school improvement. I look forward to learning from our students as we share and grow this year.

These are just a few of the exciting improvements you will see this year. I challenge all students to choose a club, sport, or other school-sponsored activity to become involved with this year. It is a new year, try something different and prepare for your future! I also encourage parents to remain highly involved in your child’s education by staying informed about attendance, academic progress, as well as school expectations and requirements. Parents, please consider serving on the school council or as a PTSA officer as we work to revitalize these beneficial programs in support of our students.
