Mrs. Heflin's Kindergarten

Welcome to kindergarten!  I'm excited about having your child in my classroom.  We're going to have a FANTASTIC year and you'll be surprised how much you're child will learn.  Kindergarten is a Special time in  your child's life and I am looking forward to being a part of it. 

Let me share with you a little information about myself.  This is my 22nd year as a public school teacher.  I have taught pre-k, kindergarten, second grade, third grade and served as a reading tutor for kindergarten, first and second grades.  I've been married for 23 years and have two children, Dylan 19, now in Tennessee in college  and Maggie 17.

10:45-11:25 Writers Workshop
11:25-11:35 Restroom
11:40-12:10 Lunch
12:10-12:30 Restroom
12:30-12:50  Recess
12:50-1:50  Math Workshop
1:50-2:00  Snack
2:00-2:15 prepare for dismissal
2:15 Line up for Dismissal
