Happy Fall! Don't you love the crisp leaves falling on the ground and the cool weather approaching? I know I do.
In Mrs. Miller's 5th grade class we are studying genetics in science. How much fun!
In Language Arts, we are studying similes......similes are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get!
In Math, we are multiplying & dividing decimals.
In Social Studies, we are now discussing westward expansion, cattle drives and cowboys! The mid-to-late 1800's must have been a crazy, changing time for our country!

Pennies for Paulding – November 8th – November 19th – Students may send in pennies, nickels, dimes, quarters, or dollar bills. Homerooms will be competing against one another. The homeroom with the most money collected will receive a pizza party in January. All money collected will go towards Paulding Christmas and their effort to sponsor families during the holiday season.
Holiday Assistance Information
Applications for holiday assistance will be taken at the Paulding County Community Center during the following dates:
- November 1, 2010 - November 19, 2010
- Monday, Thursday, Friday from 10:00-2:00
- Monday nights from 5-7 pm
