Dear Parents,
We have made it through the 1st nine weeks and it is fast approaching the midway point for the 2nd nine weeks period. I am so excited about all the great things that are happening at Moses in November and want to share some of those with you.
I think it is very important to recognize students for their dedication and commitment to doing the work it takes to be an excellent student. I am very excited to announce our first celebration of the year for our students that made all As or all As and Bs during the first 9 weeks of school.
This celebration will take place on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 2:30 PM. These students will be rewarded with extra free time in the gym to socialize with their friends, listen to music and enjoy some fresh popped popcorn and a drink. I am sure it will be a fun time for your student and a great way to celebrate their success.
Parental involvement at the middle school level is also very important to me. I want to invite you to Coffee with the Principal on November 16th at 8:30 AM. It will be a very informal time to sit down, have coffee and a very open, friendly discussion about our school. I hope you will join me.
Thanksgiving and fall break are right around the corner! Students will have the entire week of November 19th off to enjoy time with family.
As you can see, November will be a very busy month. I hope you enjoy your Thanksgiving holiday with your family and have safe travels for those planning trips to see family out of town.
