Georgia Teacher Academy for Preparation and Pedagogy (GaTAPP)

The Paulding County School District appreciates your interest in our school district. At this time we are not
placing candidates into the GaTAPP program. If you are interested in transitioning from the field of
business to the teaching field through the GaTAPP program, we have provided the link below to the North
West Georgia RESA (NWGA RESA) website for your convenience. Please be aware the NWGA RESA is the
RESA provider that Paulding County is affiliated with and the requirements may vary for the different
RESA program providers throughout the state. Employment in a school system is usually a requirement to
be accepted into GATAPP. Hopefully, this information will help you to prepare so that you are an eligible
candidate for GATAPP upon gaining employment in a Georgia school system.
